{Welcome Home Grandma & Grandpa}

Look who is back and looking better than ever!!!

It's true. My grandparents made it safely back from the Philippines on October 2nd 2012. It was so wonderful seeing them come down the escalator after 18 months of them being gone.

Last Sunday was their homecoming in Layton. I drove up with a friend who served in their same mission and wanted to see them. I was so lucky to make the long drive with someone, instead of alone. Although we had to speed the whole way-- we made it just in time of sacrament meeting. They gave the most incredible talks, literally so incredible. The bishop gave them extra time to report so they were able to address everything. :)

After the meeting, we then all met at my Aunt and Uncles place. Being a college student with little food-- the buffet style at homecomings are what I live for. :) But besides the amazing food it was good to spend time with all the cousins, friends, and family. I truly am so blessed for such amazing grandparents who started this whole family. I mean just look at us. . .

Well, just the girls I guess. (I can't quite upload the picture of everyone....but this is fine right?)

My grandparents felt bad that my friend Tyler wasn't in any family pictures so they threw him into this one. Clearly it didn't quite turn out. HA!

All in all, I am so grateful for such an amazing family who sets such high standards along with being the best examples. I truly got so blessed to be born into such a wonderful family.

{Study or Die}

I think its fair to say that I have never known how to study. . . Ever. Studying in High School was reviewing notes the night before the test and easily pulling off an A. But clearly that does NOT work anymore. I have a huge American Heritage test tomorrow- and I don't know where to start. The flash cards? Read the chapters? Or watch the movie? Kind of a lot to get done today. Yet here I am, in my sweats, sitting on my bed, on my lap top trying to waste time before I need to begin. Procrastination to the max! I probably should have started a little bit earlier. Whoops! But its all good. . . Right? I guess we will see tomorrow at 1:00. Wish me luck.

{Autumn}

October is approaching!! When I think of October I think of Autumn, and when I think of Autumn I think of. . .
October truly cannot come quick enough. My roommates and I have so many plans for the Fall--- a  "Pumpkin Party" is just one we have discussed. My Pinterest home page is becoming "Fall" oriented with recipes and decorations of fall :) It about time to break out the sweaters and scarfs because HERE COMES AUTUMN!

{My Best Friend}

Good Morning.
I just wanted to share how amazing this past week has been. I got to visit my cute family back home and send Austin off to Homecoming. I love spending time with them, I really have missed them this past month.Its always nice to be back and have a nice home cooked meal, rather than the same chicken wrap or grilled cheese :)

I have the best friend in the whole world.

{Video}

Hey everyone, go check out a fun home video me and my buddies put together of our hike to the top of Timpanogos. Nothing to extravagant- but definitely enjoyable :)

{Mt. Timpanogos}

This crew right here hiked Timpanogos mountain Saturday morning at 2 am. Call us crazy, but we made it up just in time for the sunrise. This was the most strenuous hike any of us have done, and to our surprise we finished just as happy as we started, and all still the best of friends! Ha! I tell myself I will never do this ever again. . . but knowing me I will somehow find myself making the 17 mile journey, for 9 hours, climbing this same exact mountain, in the middle of the night.

{What Do College Students Do?}

What do college students do? Do we just sleep, go to school and study? I ask myself this question multiple times each day and I still am yet to find an answer. I catch myself watching One Tree Hill in my spare time, driving home to watch my brothers football games, and taking long naps trying to recover from the early morning classes. I guess the point I'm trying to get across is- I haven't found college too tough yet. Yes, I understand its only the second week, I'm just trying to take in the laid back schedule and slowly prepare for future stress. Oh, and did I mention I ride the bus to school?
Yep, its true. Bus 830 is our newest addition to the College life.  We are learning how to save money on gas- our parents are so proud! Along with new additions... the library! I don't think Ive ever spent any time in the library- ever. Sad to admit, but it was definitely social taboo. HA! But here in college I feel privileged to call myself the newest library fanatic.

Overall- College has been so much fun. I have loved living on my own and learning to grow up! I have loved every minute of it. I just hope I don't get sucked into too much homework and studying in the near future.... but clearly thats not going to happen.
